House Music. Movement. Connection. Nature

Saturday July 25 | 2pm - 11pm

For the seventh season of SUN/SETS, we invite you to join a Day Out of Time: a day devoted to reflection and creativity beneath the open sky as the sun sets and the full moon rises. Inspired by traditions that honor July 25 as a pause between cycles -- when time is art -- we will step outside the ordinary rhythms of schedules and screens. Through mind, movement, and music, we will slow down and imagine what kind of future we want to create.

Use this day-long retreat as a one-of-a-kind experience inviting you to reset. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with yourself and others through incredible DJs, picnics, yoga, workshops, and performance. As the sun dips, we’ll gather for a sunset gratitude practice, before launching into a full moon dance party; reconnecting with what matters most, and creating space for something new.

Schedule

Gates open at 2pm and offer access to the estate. You can expect wellness, art workshops, music and picnics while the sun is out, then dance the night away to house DJs and more.

A Magical Art Estate

Set beneath enormous old oak trees with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the historic estate boasts acres of gardens, fields, lakes, and forests. The full day of programs will utilize locations across the property with the option to join workshops and experiences, or simply enjoy nature on one’s own.

Tickets

SUN/SETS is a fundraiser for the Tom Tom Foundation. All GA Tickets offer access to the estate and full program. Scholarship Tickets are available for those who need a little extra help! If you have the ability to support a bit more, Patron Tickets are tax deductible and help keep these events going and remain accessible to all! Patron Tickets include a Tom Tom steel cup, A Commemorative Poster, and a Guided tour of the House.

A Co-Created Program

The program is a co-created vision shaped by DJs, artists, workshop facilitators, musicians, wellness practitioners, and community leaders. This collaborative curatorial process is already underway, bringing together creative voices from across the community to craft gatherings, performances, conversations, and moments of reflection to drop more deeply into presence and creativity. Interested in being a part of it? Want to volunteer?
