Sustain a vital cultural catalyst for Charlottesville’s future.

Not many communities have a Festival that brings everyone together to envision a brighter tomorrow.
Charlottesville does.
Twelve years in, the Tom Tom Festival has become a springtime tradition here that brings people together across all walks of life for friendship and collaboration.
Many Tom Tom events are free, or offered by scholarship and donation. The reason is simple, a community platform has to be available to the whole community, and financial impediments to participating must be minimized as much as possible.
We’re inviting you to become part of the Founders Circle that ensures this incredible resource for our hometown can continue.

Twelve years in, Tom Tom is a vital contributor to the vibrancy of Downtown, to the cohesion across our community, and to productive dialogues about our future.
Tom Tom, which means Tomorrow Tomorrow, hosts the annual Tom Tom Festival, which is a music, art, and ideas festival that annually gathers 22,000+ people to explore the future of our community, alongside another 3,000 that participate in year-round programs.
If you recognize the value of the Tom Tom project, join The Founders Circle. You’ll join other philanthropic leaders in technology, criminal justice, education, housing, mental health and wellness, and entrepreneurship. You’ll meet these leaders throughout the year at lunches, mixers, and at Tom Tom events.
The end goal: let’s bring people together to create solutions and build a brighter tomorrow for our community.

"I had never seen a more diverse and jovial crowd. It was a true picture of what Charlottesville is all about"
—Juandiego Wade, Vice Mayor of Charlottesville (2022)
"This was my very first time attending a Tom Tom Festival. It was also a first time attending a event on the Downtown Mall in over 10 years. I’ve never really felt welcomed at events Downtown. This year the diversity of the Tom Tom Festival allowed me to see my community in a new light. I felt welcomed, I felt like I finally belonged to my community that I grew up in. I got to see old friends that I haven’t seen in years."
—Beverly M (2022)
"I had such a wonderful time meeting smart, reliable, creative collaborators…People told me the downtown block party was the “most diverse” space they’ve encountered in Charlottesville, and that it felt truly integrated and like the whole city came out. It was a blast!"
—Karolyn K (2023)

“Charlottesville is already well known for a broad spectrum of traditional, progressive, conservative, moderate, and cutting edge activities and expressions; and TTFF adds diversity to the mix. The multi-pronged focus on historical inspiration with admiration, collaboration, inspiration and perspiration help promote successful development and implementation of the tremendous knowledge, skills, abilities, and dreams that our wonderful city has to offer.”
—Rick M (2016)
