The Tom Tom Founders Festival would not exist without the support of the Charlottesville community. It’s no surprise that many of our most popular events are the ones that celebrate the talents of our friends and neighbors.
We’re encouraging the public to get involved by sharing their entrepreneurial vision at Crowdfunded Pitch Night, bringing their organization and a dish to share at the Community Potluck, and using their skills to lead a Community Workshop.
Crowdfunded Pitch Night
Wednesday, April 11th at the Jefferson Theater
Ten local entrepreneurs pitch to a live audience willing to pledge funds to their favorite contestant. It’s a three-minute chance to share your vision with the community and inspire the crowd to action! Prizes include:
A spot in the Entrepreneur Workshop at the Community Investment Collaborative (CIC)
A spot in the 2018 summer incubator program at the i.Lab at UVA
The total prize money donated by the crowd. Last year’s winners, 1 Degree App, went home with over $5,000!!!SUBMIT A PITCH
