Partner Event: NEXTGEN Skilled Trades Day
Updated: Sep 9
Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM - 1 PM
The future of our community will be built by the people who have the skills, ideas, and imagination to shape it. That’s why Tom Tom is proud to support the skilled trades and our partners at the Charlottesville Office of Economic Development, Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce, and Piedmont Virginia Community College in creating pathways to opportunity for the next generation of builders, makers, engineers, and problem-solvers.
NextGen Skilled Trades Day invites students and their families to imagine what’s possible through hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and conversations with local employers. It’s a chance to explore careers that are shaping our community and to see firsthand how the skills learned today can help build the places, businesses, and ideas of tomorrow.
Supporting opportunities like this is part of Tom Tom’s commitment to imagining a better future, together. We believe a stronger future starts by giving the next generation the chance to explore, experiment, and see themselves as part of building it.
Join the Skilled Trades Fair on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM - 1 PM at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Take a first step toward building what comes next.
