ABOUT

The 10th Annual Tom Tom will launch on April 20th, the first legal 420 in Virginia’s history. This milestone highlights both opportunities for entrepreneurship and disparities in the criminal justice system. When some are legally selling cannabis, why are others still in prison for the same action, or struggling under the shadows of criminal records? The first legal 420 is an opportunity to look at what has changed in Virginia, and what changes still need to be made.

The Tomorrow’s Charlottesville series connects leaders throughout the year in a monthly conversation. A special edition will kick off the Tom Tom Festival on Wednesday, April 20.

In these conversations, there isn’t a panel or keynote. Instead, a series of small-group conversations elevate the expertise of those present and facilitate introductions. Great ideas emerge, but the biggest take-away is a new set of connections to other change-makers.
